What it covers

This certificate covers the device hardware — the battery, electronics and charging system. It is assessed for electrical safety to IEC 60335-1, battery safety to IEC 62133, RoHS, EMC and plug compliance. It is a completely separate certificate from the e-liquid: a vape kit sold with both needs the device certificate here and the e-liquid product certificate. One certificate covers one model regardless of colour variants.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the device a separate certificate from the e-liquid?

Because Cabinet Resolution 5/2019 treats the consumable and the hardware differently. The e-liquid is assessed for chemical safety; the device is assessed for electrical and battery safety. If you import both, you need both certificates — we file them together.

Does each colour need its own certificate?

No. One certificate covers one device model regardless of colour variants. We structure the application around your model line-up.

What battery testing is required?

If the device is battery-powered, a battery test report per UAE.S GSO IEC 62133-1/2 and GSO IEC 60086 is required alongside the IEC 60335-1 safety report. We arrange both through accredited labs.

Does TheCorpBridge issue the certificate?

No. MoIAT and its Notified Bodies issue the certificate. We prepare the test reports and technical file and manage the MoIAT submission for you.
