What it covers

Honey registration applies to all natural honey products, whether locally produced or imported. Testing follows UAE.S 147:2019 with test methods per GSO 122:1990, and the dossier must include declarations confirming the honey is pure — no added sugars or sweeteners, not over-heated, and not chemically or bio-chemically treated. Manufacturers also need a food-safety management certificate, and optional organic or Halal claims require their own supporting credentials.

Frequently asked questions

Can I register organic or Halal honey?

Yes. Organic honey needs a valid organic certificate, and Halal-declared honey needs a Halal National Mark licence, each in addition to the standard honey requirements. We confirm which claims your product carries and assemble the right evidence.

What testing does honey need?

An accredited-lab test report to UAE.S 147:2019, based on sampling per GSO 122:1990. The report is valid for under three years. We arrange the testing through accredited laboratories.

How many SKUs does one certificate cover?

Five SKUs per certificate, grouped by product category, flower source, brand, factory, country of origin and test report.
