ECAS Electrical Products (LVE) Registration in the UAE
Household appliances, power tools, cables and AV/IT equipment need an ECAS conformity certificate under the Low Voltage Equipment scheme before sale in the UAE. We prepare the technical file and manage the MoIAT application end-to-end.
The LVE scheme is the broadest electrical route in the programme. It covers household appliances — irons, microwaves, washers and dryers, fridges, air-conditioners, vacuums, fans, water dispensers, dishwashers — plus personal-care appliances, power tools such as drills, saws and grinders, wires and cables, and AV/IT equipment. Energy-efficiency-labelled (EESL) products such as room ACs, fridges, washers, dryers, dishwashers, pumps and TVs carry an extra requirement: an internal performance test report on top of the IEC CB safety reports. We map your range to the right reports and assemble the full file.
Documents you will need
The core dossier MoIAT expects for this category. We prepare and assemble all of it on your behalf.
Valid UAE trade / industrial licence
IEC CB test reports and certificates
Product Identity Declaration (PID) where applied models differ from the tested models
Rating-label photos and bilingual user manual
Internal performance test report for EESL products (room ACs, fridges, washers, dryers, dishwashers, pumps, TVs)
UAE RoHS compliance
How the application works
Four stages from product to issued certificate. We run the first three; MoIAT and its Notified Body issue the certificate.
Assess & match
We confirm the category and resolution and map exactly which documents and tests apply to your product.
Prepare the file
We arrange accredited testing and compile the technical dossier, declarations and labels.
Submit & manage
We register and submit through the MoIAT portal and manage reviewer queries until the file clears.
Certificate issued
MoIAT / its Notified Body issues the certificate, ready for customs and distribution.
Frequently asked questions
Which products fall under the LVE scheme?
A very broad range — household appliances, personal-care appliances, power tools, wires and cables, and AV/IT equipment. If it runs on low-voltage mains power, it generally falls under LVE. We confirm the exact scope for your catalogue.
What is a PID?
A Product Identity Declaration. Where the models you are applying for differ from the exact models named in the IEC CB test report, a PID links them. We prepare it so the application is not rejected for a model mismatch.
Which products need EESL performance testing?
Energy-efficiency-labelled products — room air-conditioners, fridges, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, rotodynamic pumps and TVs — need an internal performance test report in addition to the IEC CB safety reports. We arrange both.
Does TheCorpBridge issue the certificate?
No. MoIAT and its Notified Bodies issue the certificate. We are the application consultant — we compile the reports and technical file and manage the MoIAT submission end-to-end.
